SCPASA is the Southern California Pilipin@-American Student Alliance. Guided by our five principles of academic, advocacy, community, cultural, and social we, as SCPASA, are a space that fosters self-education through collaborative involvement to further personal and collective growth within the Southern California Pilipin@-American community. There are currently 16 organizations within the alliance.
The UCLA Community Programs Office serves as an umbrella department for the Student Initiated Outreach Center, Student Retention Center, and twenty five student-initiated community service projects.
The CPO strives to increase students from underserved communities’ access to higher education, retention in the university, and graduation rates while also serving as a conscious effort in the community, working toward the empowerment of all people.
The Mother Organization Coalition is a partnership among the Mother Organizations in UCLA, comprised of the Afrikan Student Union, American Indian Student Association, Asian Pacific Coalition, MEChA de UCLA, Muslim Student Association, Pacific Islands’ Student Association, Queer Alliance, Samahang Pilipino, and the Vietnamese Student Union.
